The application process
- Discuss your idea with the IBIC team to shape your idea.
- Read the IBIC handbook and develop your proposal with partners.
- Knowledge exchange - for early-stage ideas and proof-of-concept
- Commercialisation - for ideas ready to scale up
- Submit your application and required documents.
- IBIC will confirm receipt, check everything is complete, and let you know when to expect a decision.
- Your proposal is anonymised and reviewed by the IBIC Grant Review Panel.
- Decisions are typically made within a few weeks of the deadline.
- If successful, you’ll receive an offer letter.
- Project agreements (and non-disclosure agreements where needed) must be in place before the project starts.
- Run your project with support from IBIC.
- You’ll submit financial and progress reports, plus a final and follow-on impact report.
